StorTrec was founded in July of 2001. The founding members decided to establish a service and support ONLY organization. The second fundamental decision was to stay focused on the Data Storage industry. The integrity that StorTrec has displayed from the very beginning has gained us the respect required to work so closely with the channel partners. We understand the sensitivity of working with our partners customers. This integrity remains the backbone of StorTrec today.
The largest part of our business today is direct partnerships and/or relationships with data storage manufacturers and vendors. StorTrec assists vendors and their channel partners with the following customized services: technical phone support, 7x24 onsite services, spare parts management, RMA management and logistic services, technical training for field technicians and assistance on installations and integration.
Since then, StorTrec has increased their experience, knowledge and our service portfolio. StorTrec provides the following services: field service, maintenance, and repair for storage systems. StorTrec also provides professional services for back-up, archiving and storage virtualization environments. In addition, in our service portfolio are Solution Care Packs (an extension to existing manufacturer services) for software solution or complete SAN environments. Further, StorTrec offers complete vendor fulfillment services such as dispatching services (technician and spare parts), L1 and L2 help desk support, and performs configuration and assembling as well as logistical services.
